Dark Territory
Dark Territory: Blood Guardian
Some monsters are made. Others choose what they become.
Montana Territory, 1861. Nineteen-year-old Elliot Stone has everything a frontier rancher’s son could want: land to inherit, a girl who makes him believe in impossible things, and a future stretching wide as the Big Sky itself.
Then the vampire finds him in a lightning storm, and everything changes.
Now Elliot must survive with a hunger that demands blood and a body that will never age. When the Civil War calls him east, he discovers he’s not alone. Beside two vampire brothers, Elliot forges a code that will define him for centuries: feed only on the guilty, protect the innocent, and never cross the line that separates guardian from predator.
In the Gallatin Valley, they still whisper about the Ghost who rides the ridge at night. About criminals who vanish. About the Blood Guardian who has protected this land for over 160 years.
Some legends never die. Because some legends were never alive to begin with.

“Let ’em wander. If they’re meant to see something, they’ll see it.”
The bartender sighed. “Earl likes to tell stories.”
“Stories?” the traveler asked.
Earl snorted. “That what you call ’em now?” He tipped his chin toward the traveler. “You ever hear of the Guardian?”
