๐Ÿ‚ Happy fall, friends.

The air finally turned this week. You know the morning I mean, the one where you step outside and the cold actually has a bite to it, and the light comes in low and gold and makes everything look like it belongs in a photograph. I’ve had the window cracked and a blanket over my knees and entirely too much cinnamon in my coffee, and I am not the least bit sorry about any of it. โ˜•

Fall is my favorite season to write in. Something about the early dark makes the stories go darker too, and this year that worked out beautifully, because I’ve got two books to tell you about and both of them are exactly the kind of thing you want to read with the curtains drawn.

๐ŸŒ™ CLAIMED AT MIDNIGHT

New Mexico, 1862. The war is tearing the country apart in the east, and out in the borderlands there’s an abandoned Spanish mission that nobody goes near after dark. ๐Ÿœ๏ธ

Clara Whitmore goes anyway. She’s a frontier physician looking for her missing father, and she has never once let a locked door or a sensible man’s warning stop her from getting where she needs to go. What she finds at the mission is a man named Wesley Kade who has been alive a great deal longer than anyone has a right to be, and who would very much prefer she turn around and ride back the way she came.

She doesn’t. ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ

This one has adobe walls and lamplight, a doctor who decides to cure the incurable, and a choice made at midnight that I rewrote four separate times because I wanted it to land exactly right. It’s the vampire western I’ve been wanting to write for years, and I’m so glad it finally exists.

โ„๏ธ๐Ÿบ Christmas Is Getting a Little Wild in Leavenworth ๐ŸŽ„

Nell Ashford had a perfectly sensible Christmas plan: six quiet days alone in Leavenworth, Washington.

No family obligations. No complicated relationships. No one needing anything from her.

Just twinkling lights, snowy streets, good food, and some well-earned peace and quiet. โ˜•โ„๏ธ

Then the snow starts falling.

And falling.

And falling.

Before Nell knows it, Stevens Pass is closed, her peaceful little getaway has gone spectacularly off schedule, and a handsome Christmas-shop owner named Beau Brandt has somehow become very concerned about whether she’s warm enough.

Beau also comes with an enormous mountain family, some rather unusual traditions, and the distinct impression that there is something about the Brandts Nell hasn’t quite figured out yet. ๐Ÿบ

Her quiet Christmas?

It’s looking less likely by the minute.

Her boring Christmas?

Not a chance. ๐ŸŽ„โค๏ธ

Christmas with the Leavenworth Pack is a cozy, funny paranormal Christmas romance filled with snow, small-town holiday magic, family chaos, unexpected attraction, and just enough wolfish trouble to keep things interesting.
