What I’m Writing: The Christmas Window 🎄

I’ve been spending my writing time in Bigfork, Montana, where Molly Talbot has returned to help her aunt Rita through the Christmas rush at The Gingerbread Lodge. Molly has a successful career designing window displays in New York, and she has every intention of going back after the holidays.

Then eight-year-old Austin Foss arrives with an old photograph of the bakery’s Christmas window and a question about the little train that used to run through its miniature village. Molly remembers making that display with Rita years ago, and Austin’s father, Nathan, offers to help get the train running again. Soon the three of them are building something together, one tiny house and stubborn repair at a time.

The Christmas Window is a Christmas romance with a busy bakery, a Montana ranch, a close family with a secret, and a little boy who knows exactly where the train’s light should go. I’m still writing Molly, Nathan, and Austin’s story, and I’m looking forward to sharing more of it with you. 🚂❄️
